The 4 Dβs Of Home Security:
- DETER
- DETECT
- DELAY
- DEFEND
One of my favorite home security products that is a must and is cheap are motion system alarms. Even though cameras are extremely good and great because you can capture video for future use or to provide to law enforcement the motion system alarms is always my go to item because it gives complete coverage to my homes perimeter or driveway entrance and gives me instant notification by sounding an alarm buzzer inside my house. In many cases my cameras pickup motion but by the time my phone gets the text or notifications there is a delay in receiving it and that can be the difference between life and death. These motion systems are easy to use and setup and are cheap. About $16.99 at Harbor Freight.
Quick Tip: I purchased 2 systems and labeled one front of house and the other rear of house so when an alarm went off I knew exactly where the movement was picked up.
